I've been having a smoothie almost every morning for the past few months. But pool running works up a serious appetite and I'm usually hungry about two hours later, so I have been trying to eat a more substantial breakfast.
This was my breakfast of choice this morning:
And I'm seriously considering making salt water taffy my new running fuel once I'm back at it. I figure the salt part makes it great for electrolyte replacement.
It is officially summer because our swimsuits are in full rotation so they have time to dry between outings. 70 minutes of pool running this morning then pool time with my girls this afternoon.
