After two lame, pathetic, lackluster weeks of running, I woke up excited to run yesterday. And today, I wore my running clothes all morning in anticipation of my nap time run today. Even in spite of sore glutes and tired quads from getting in some P90X Core Synergistics last night, I couldn't wait to get moving on Millie. I am a planner. Today I had a plan to get my run in while my girls slept, and my day was organized accordingly. I am also a creature of habit. The first thing I do when I roll out of bed every single day is make my bed and my girls' beds. If I do something else first, it throws off the entire morning. I am a creature of habit when it comes to my running routines as well. There are a few things that differ depending on whether I am running on Millie or outside, whether my girls are asleep or not, and whether or not they are joining me in the jogger. Yet, no matter when, where, how far or with whom I run, some things are always the same. My hair goes into a pony
My favorite runnerd.
ReplyDeleteI heart you. completely.
The sun that's shining for one last day before it's no where in site. For new tights that came in the mail. For lunch with my 9 year old. For working out this morning. It's a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhere is all the chocolate? No temptation for me without the chocolate.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I know that Halloween candy is getting to me! Soo much sugar! lol
ReplyDeleteWHOA! How do you run with the treadmill facing the wall??
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful that it finally stopped raining!
Today, I'm grateful for antibiotics. Little Red is finally resting easy. And ditto for no temptation without chocolate. :)
ReplyDeleteWinter running tights! And chihuahuas who snuggle when it's cold! :)
ReplyDeleteI am grateful I don't need to run on the "dreadmill".
ReplyDeleteI love chocolate!
Same boat! Ugh! I asked my hubby to "make the candy bowl disappear". And 2 minutes later it was GONE!
ReplyDeletei am grateful for my long run today to make up for all the candy I have eaten!
I'm grateful I could run a lovely race this morning.
ReplyDeleteThere is NO WAY that little Vanilla Tootsie would survive 30 seconds in my house, let alone centerstage in a photo op.
ReplyDeleteAnd I continue to be jealous of that jogger rain cover, I bet it helps shield the cooler weather, too.
As for gratefulness, I am grateful that I can wake up each day and enjoy everything the world tries to throw at us. But since that's a little deep, I am also grateful for Fluoride because with all the candy I've eaten in my lifetime, I definitely should've had a cavity by now.
Thanks for coming by my blog...we forgot to put out a pumpkin (this happens when your kids are all adults who don't live at home)...so no one came to our door. We are now left with a box of mini chocolats...oh dear!
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for sunshine today and a really nice run :) ...I guess I am a runnerd! I think I'll go and join the site right now.
I'm grateful for you and the comment you just left. Thinking of you. Bringing you smiles and hugs from Sunny AZ. Hang in there my runnerd. ;)
ReplyDeleteI MUST get the candy outta my house! I have finally got off the last of the splurge after the race weight. Must resist the sugar temptation...it's time for headlamps and weather shields!
