Lessons from My Munchkins

For lunch today, my 11-month-old ate avocado, cheese, apples and whole wheat bread, with a banana yogurt drink on the side. My somewhat pickier 3-year-old ate cheese and a BIG carrot. I think I should start eating more like my girls. The funny thing is I am the one who feeds them, so why is it so hard to feed myself equally nutritious food? Just a thought...

  1. My hubby is a stay at home Dad...so my boys eat Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Macaroni, Hamburgers, tater tots, Pizza, Pasta, etc.. If I ate like my kids I would be a BLIMP!! LOL

  2. Aww how cute! I think sometimes it's easier for us to treat the ones we love more kindly than we do ourselves, eh?
Good mom giving them such nutritious food!

  3. I have thought about that too. If I just ate yogurt, cheese, and fruit AND only when I am hungry, I would look great too. "The Kid's Diet" could be a great book idea!

  4. This is SO true! My 4 year old eats so healthy and yet I find whatever is easiest and quickest for me! I think I will make a conscious effort to try and eat more like him!
And so true JTC, I smell a book in the making! :)
