This became my newest accessory yesterday:
Needless to say, yesterday was a rough day. Today I'm trying to pick myself up, dust myself off, and move forward.
Sadly, I won't be putting my running journal to use for a while, but that doesn't mean you can't! So be sure you enter to win a customized training journal of your own HERE or on my Instagram HERE. Winner will be announced tomorrow!

So sorry to see you in a boot! I've been there. Not fun:( For me it felt like I would have to start completely over and would lose strength and endurance. I was in a boot for several weeks and I remember my calf did not look like the strong calf I remembered and it tries to do something to you mentally. Just do what exercises you can until you can get that thing off.(I remember doing a lot of donkey kicks) It's hard, but stay the course, recover, and before you know it you will be stronger than ever! Hope you are able to heel quickly and use this time to do other things that you enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThere is seriously a stress fracture epidemic! One of the running coaches that I know got a stress fracture on the 14th and I got one on the 17th!
