After a miserably hot long run, it was time for some more time in the heat at the water park with my girls. Have I mentioned I love my girls? I wore my new swimsuit for the first time and loved it! Bonus: I got to show off my sweet runner's tan.
Six recovery miles on Saturday. I wore my watch but didn't use it. Just some random information for you. This is an example of why I don't take running selfies. This was the best of a really bad bunch of attempts.
When you see some little ponies during your run, you take your horse-crazy daughter to see them. And this happens.
And this is how you wear KT Tape to church without it being too obvious. You're welcome. I'm glad I could share such an awesome running tip with you.
I have been pretty good lately about cutting back on treats. When I was craving something sweet the other day, I made this Honey Coconut Popcorn for a healthier sweet treat option. The problem is, when something is this good, I end up eating way too much and it is no longer healthy. So yes, it is good. And you should make it. So here is the recipe:
Honey Coconut Popcorn
6 cups air popped popcorn
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup (unrefined) coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla
salt
Melt honey and coconut oil together over low heat. Whisk in vanilla. Let sit 5-10 minutes to cool slightly. Pour over popcorn and stir gently. Salt to taste.
That popcorn sounds delicious...and like I would it the whole batch. By myself. I did A LOT of eating over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteHow is the KT tape helping? It blends right in with your super cute shoes!
Good job on your run and your donuts. I feel like the two go hand in hand.
You would eat the whole batch. It is that good! But it's "healthy" right?
