Last night we went swimming as a family...
...and today the girls and I spent the day at a water park. I'm pretty sure the highlight for Ellie Bean was getting nachos. They are her new obsession. Can't say that I blame her.
Apparently my 90 minutes yesterday and 75 minutes today of pool running hasn't been enough pool time. I am pretty sure my skin will never be the same after it's constant exposure to chlorine these past seven weeks.
That's right! I'm almost at the eight week mark, which means my return to running is approaching. I have been researching different training plans to help ease myself back into running post-stress fracture.
There will be walking alternated with running and only every other day for a week or so. I'll post my runs each time, just in case you are curious. What I'm curious to see is how much my pool running has helped maintain my running fitness!! I'll let you know.
And then there's this. Thank goodness for Pinterest! Where else would we find things like this?!?
What are your favorite nacho toppings? I like mine loaded with cheese, black beans, chicken, salsa, olives and a little sour cream.
What was the highlight of your Tuesday?
My fav nacho toppings are cheese and jalapeños! YUM! It looks like your kiddos had a lot of fun at the pool :) I can't wait til I take my 4 month old baby girl to the pool for the very first time. The highlight of my Tuesday was probably playing with my baby girl and seeing my hubby after work. Simple, but I feel so blessed!

DeleteOkay I can NEVER let my girls see your blog...I will become the lamest, most boring mom ever in their minds. You are awesome and I'm sure your girls are loving their summer full of water and fun! :-) As for nachos...lots of cheese!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your girls are having a blast this summer! Nothing quite compares to grandma's pool!
