I love the smells outside. And inside, like my pumpkin candles and pumpkin pies and breads.I love the colors, from the changing of the leaves to the warm fall oranges and browns.
I love decorating for the holidays. And watching my girls' excitement when we do.
I love the cooler temperatures. I love being able to have the windows open and hear the voices of kids playing and the cows mooing in the field behind our house. I love the cool air coming in while I am sleeping.
And I love that the cooler temperatures decided to move south. When I checked the 2-week forecast a few days ago, it showed a high of 92 in St. George on October 1st. Now it's showing the high as 81 with a chance of rain. I'll take the rain if it means I don't have to take the heat.
What do you love about this time of year?
I'm loving your decorations!
ReplyDeleteI love the fall too. I love walking with Bungee and smelling when people have fires in their fireplace!
i have to say mine is summer. i have this whole thing going on with fall, my second child was born end of sept and she was colic and my 2 year old was showing symptoms of ocd = plus i had ppd and i recall trying to do all the fall things...pumpkin picking, apple picking - baking etc. and now it all bothers me. i need to get over it b/c fall is fun
ReplyDeleteI love pumpkin everything, apple orchards, colorful leaves, that first day of sweatshirt weather, football...I guess I love everything about this time of year, too! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this time of year too! I like it when I come home from work, and the gym that it is not too hot or not too cold so I can still walk the doggy comfortably... I got home yesterday and the hubs had the A/C on I looked at him like he was insane!
ReplyDeleteI love the decorations!
ReplyDeleteFall is so much fun! I feel like it helps slow us down and appreciate the changing of the seasons before we snuggle up in the winter.
I love running in the cooler weather!
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season too. I love that soup is acceptable for every dinner. I love that pumpkin pie and pecan pie come around again. I love that the garden is just about done and pretty soon everyone's yard's will look the same again under a foot of snow. And I love that I can run almost any time of day and it's never too hot!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the forecast is looking good for St. George! Yay!
As busy as this time of year is for me I too admit to loving it. Except this morning when I was running and it was only 48 degrees. Now that I did not love.
ReplyDeleteLove your decorations!! Can you get together sometime next week before the marathon? I was thinking a fro-yo date maybe tues or wed?
