I'm hoping the long run goes much better than last night's speedwork, which kicked my booty. I got all six 800s done and called it good at five miles. It was almost 10 pm, and I was beat. So I read some blogs while I drank my chocolate milk, showered and went to bed.
I think the fact that I am running to and meeting my family at a water park tomorrow morning should keep me motivated. And since my boring little run won't really be Twitter worthy, here's something that is: Mike's 20in24.
And before I call it the weekend and order my new pre-long-run pasta take-out, here's an ad I saw today that made me think of Beth. And runners everywhere. And my recently potty trained daughter. Because this is indeed an important event.

HA! I would wear that shirt. Every day you poop is a good day!
ReplyDeleteThat shirt is hysterical! Which water park you running to?
ReplyDeleteI hope your long run goes better than mine this morning. There was a lot of run/walking and it was not fun!
ReplyDeleteThat shirt is amazing!
I love that shirt! How funny!!! I've never had In-N-Out burger but I've heard great things!!
ReplyDeleteBeing a runner and dad with kids I concur...LOVE that shirt. Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI've tried the In-N-Out before a long run. Once.
ReplyDeleteLesson learned.

ReplyDeleteNice shirt!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity I don't know what an In-N-Out is! I think I have to travel more to learn something.
Nice shirt!
ReplyDeleteDad Wonder misses fry sauce. We would go to Warren's like once a week so that he could have his fry sauce. Me, not so much. He also misses Crown Burger - I think it was pastrami that they would put on top of the burger. I can't recall, but needless to say, we have lots of food memories from UT. Obviously, pre-running days. :)
Love that shirt.
ReplyDeleteI'm a label? When did I become a label?
ReplyDeleteAre you expecting your male readers to even notice the graphic and phrase on that shirt?
